Lyrical Ballads 1798 eBook William Wordsworth
I picked this up because it was free and I am traveling to England soon and will probably visit the Lake District and I thought this would get me in the mood for it. I really liked some of the poems in particular The Mad Mother, The Last of the Flock, and The Rime of the Ancient Marinere. Others, I didn't like as much, but I feel that that is to be expected with any book of poetry; some poems will speak to you others will not. The formatting was good, you can flip between poems easily because each poem is set up as a chapter which is really convenient. Also, the spelling and grammer were pretty good. The poems ranged in length some were short and others were longer. I would recommend this to anyone as Wordsworth is pretty easy to read and enjoyable. Plus, it's a free book what have you got to lose? I can't believe this has no reviews yet.Product details

Lyrical Ballads 1798 eBook William Wordsworth Reviews
I've loved these poems for years, and the extra materials in this edition add layers to this appreciation. Nice paper, good binding, and superb scholarship.
OriginalIy, I was not going to comment, but the review link looked so lonely, I decided to give my opinion. This a well compiled book, and I loved almost all the poems. There will always those two poems that almost everyone does'nt like, but this is a great collection for avid poets and casual
readers alike. "Great job!" to the editors of the text.
Truly this book of poetry by Wordsworth and Coleridge signaled and heralded a change in the subject matter, the language, and the sensibility of poetry. And it also might very well be the last echo of greatness of poetry in the English language.
Very nice and easy to use version of the 1798 version of the text.
I had to read this book in college & wanted an eBook version as my old text has fallen to pieces due to use and age. This collection of poems breaks the tradition of 18th century English Poetry & puts it in a completely new track.
It's a great read & even better, it's free!
This does have the forward and the table of contents. You can access each poem from the table of contents. However, on my cloud reader, the TOC does not appear I need to go to 'beginning'
I've just read a few poems and have not yet seen any typos or odd formatting. The poems that I've read are wonderful and intriguing, and I look forward to reading all the rest.
This is the purest publication of the beginning of the British Romantic Poets. Naturally composed and focused on the common human elements.
